From $600 per vehicle — a private transfer between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Key West covers about 160 miles (260 km) door to door in roughly 3.5 to 4 hours, riding the length of the Overseas Highway (US‑1) in a Black SUV or a climate-controlled private van with a bilingual driver. The whole vehicle is reserved for your group alone at a flat rate — $600 one-way for up to six passengers — with tolls and fuel already included.
The rate is per vehicle, not per person, so your whole group rides the Overseas Highway for one fixed price. A round journey is merely double the one-way rate — booked as a single reservation so the same driver and vehicle handle both legs.
Every price above is for the private vehicle end to end — no shared seats, no per-head math, no surge for traffic, weekends, or holidays. Tolls and fuel for the full run down the Keys are already inside the flat rate.
Down here places describe themselves by mile marker and by which side of the highway they sit on, bayside or oceanside, because that is how everything is found along a single road. Copy your property’s marker and side straight from its confirmation into the booking message. If your stop is short of the island itself, that detail is what stops the vehicle sailing past it at speed.
There is only one road to Key West, and your driver takes all of it. After you land, the driver meets you curbside at MIA, loads your bags, and heads south out of Miami onto US‑1 — the Overseas Highway — which island-hops the whole Florida Keys from Key Largo down to Mile Marker 0 in Key West. It is a single reserved car the whole way: no train serves Key West, and a rideshare or taxi for a 160-mile one-way run is both impractical and far more expensive than a fixed private fare. On a drive this long the driver plans one short comfort stop for a restroom or a bite, then continues straight to your Key West address, hotel, or guesthouse.
Plan on about 3.5 to 4 hours each way for the roughly 160-mile journey, door to door. Most of that time is the Overseas Highway itself, a mostly two-lane road that threads 42 bridges across open water — gorgeous, but not a route you can rush. Real-world timing swings with the day: a weekday or an early start tends to hold near 3.5 hours, while Friday and Sunday afternoons, holiday weekends, and the single-lane stretches around the 18-Mile Stretch and Large Pine Key can push it past 4 to 4.5 hours. Because there is only one road in and out, a single accident can add time, so your driver watches conditions and builds a sensible buffer into your pickup time.
The drive is the attraction. US‑1 leaves the mainland and runs through Key Largo (the dive capital), Islamorada (the sportfishing village), and Marathon, then crosses the renowned Seven Mile Bridge — nearly seven miles of highway over turquoise water, one of the most photographed drives in America. Past the beaches of Bahia Honda and Large Pine Key with its tiny Key deer, the road carries on to Key West at Mile Marker 0. Sit back with the water on both sides; your driver handles every bridge while you take in the view.
Three private vehicles cover every group size, and each one is yours alone for the journey. A Black SUV seats up to six passengers with luggage — the pick for couples, families, and small groups. A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-style van carries seven to ten travelers when the party and the bags grow. For larger groups, a bigger van holds eleven to fourteen passengers. No seats are ever sold to strangers, and the same vehicle and driver stay with you the whole way to Key West.
The quoted price is the price you pay. Tolls, SunPass, and fuel for the whole Overseas Highway run are already included, along with curbside meet at MIA, driver help loading and unloading at both ends, sealed bottled water, and onboard WiFi via a mobile hotspot. Courtesy waiting is built in — two hours after an international arrival, one hour after a domestic flight — and the pickup is re-timed at no charge if your flight lands early or late. Your typical allowance is one checked bag plus one carry-on per passenger; message us ahead for extra or oversized items and we confirm the right vehicle.
The historic streets are tight, largely one-way, and lined with parked cars and cyclists, and a good many guesthouses have no driveway at all. A large van sometimes cannot reach the door. Tell us the cross street when you book and be ready to walk a few steps from the corner with your bags, which is normal here and quicker than circling the block.
Yes. The driver tracks your inbound flight in real time and is waiting curbside as you step out of the terminal with your bags — no requesting a car after you land. The day before journey we text you the driver’s name, the vehicle make, and the license plate. Prefer to be met inside the terminal with a name sign? That in-terminal meet-and-greet is an optional add-on on top of the typical curbside pickup.
Absolutely. The route runs both ways, so a round journey — MIA to Key West now and Key West back to MIA at the end of your stay — is booked as one reservation with the same driver and vehicle on both legs, at exactly double the one-way rate. Prefer to fly home from Key West or continue elsewhere in Florida? A one-way is just as simple; share your pickup address and time and we confirm the vehicle and the fixed fare.
Payment runs through Venmo, Zelle, or a secure payment link; card and link payments add a small 4% bank fee. A 50% deposit confirms the reservation and the balance is settled on journey day — cash is fine for that balance. Book at least 24 hours ahead for the smoothest arrangement; shorter-notice requests obtain a manual review, subject to availability. Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup for a full refund.
Key West packs a lot into its two-by-four-mile island. Walk Duval Street for bars, galleries, and cafes; catch the nightly sunset celebration at Mallory Square; and snap the classic photo at the iconic Southernmost Point marker, 90 miles from Cuba. History buffs tour the Hemingway Home and its six-toed cats, while Fort Zachary Taylor offers the island’s best swimming beach and shade. Whether you are starting a Keys getaway, joining a cruise, or just chasing the drive, your private transfer drops you right where the fun begins.
Visitors are asked to leave the islands before residents when a serious system approaches, and with one road out the traffic goes one way only. Watch the advisories yourself rather than waiting to be told, and message us the moment your plans change. Leaving a day early is straightforward; leaving with everyone else is not.

We operate on advance reservations only. Four hours ahead is the practical minimum, and a same-day slot depends entirely on availability — it can’t be promised.
A part-payment locks your reservation: 50% when the total is under $199 USD, and 30% once it reaches $200 USD or more.
Not fully. The vehicle is secured with a 50% deposit sent by Zelle or our payment link; whatever remains can be handed to the driver in cash on arrival.

Standard pickup is curbside — text your exit door and the car pulls up within minutes, typically faster than a sign-holder. An in-terminal greeting with your name on a sign is available for $20 if you prefer it.
A day ahead you receive the driver’s name, the vehicle model and its plate number, plus step-by-step curbside instructions.
Stay calm — a message goes out to you as soon as your plane touches down. No quick reply? The driver walks to the international arrivals hall to look for you there. Nobody gets left behind.
